WHAT IT TRACKS

What the Task Bar Hero Build Planner Calculates

The planner resolves the recorded skill tree for each of the six heroes and lets you pick three of them for your party:

  1. Per-hero allocation. Each hero has eight skill-tree groups, each gated by a total-points threshold. Add and remove levels inside the planner; the gate opens when the threshold is met.
  2. Live passive totals. Every allocated passive contributes to a running stat summary, both per hero and across the chosen 3-hero party.
  3. Active skill list. The summary lists each leveled active skill with its level and recorded effect.

Allocation is local; nothing is uploaded. Use the share button to copy a link that restores the same party and skill levels.

HOW TO USE

How to Read a Skill Tree Group

  • Slot pickers. Use the three SLOT selectors to choose your party from Knight, Ranger, Sorcerer, Priest, Hunter, and Slayer. Click a slot's Edit button to switch which hero's tree you are allocating.
  • Group gates. Group 1 is always open. Groups 2 through 8 unlock at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70 total points. Locked groups dim so you can see the path before you commit.
  • Node controls. Each node shows a level readout and + / − buttons. Passives list their per-level contribution and a running total; actives list their effect and level.
  • Party totals. The right sidebar sums every allocated passive across the three chosen heroes, so you can read the combined stat budget at a glance.
INTERPRETATION

Read Passive Totals and Active Coverage Together

A passive-only build is rare: most of the recorded power lives in the active skills that consume cooldowns. Use the planner to balance the two — for example, a Knight who leans on cooldown reduction and HP regen passives can sustain a Retribution Strike rotation; a Sorcerer who pours points into elemental damage and cast speed scales Fireball, Ice Orb, and Meteor Strike together.

Once the passive totals are set, finish the build with Rune Planner allocations and pick farming routes that match the resulting speed with the Farming Calculator.

BUILD PLANNER FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Task Bar Hero build planner track?

It allocates points across the six heroes' skill trees (Knight, Ranger, Sorcerer, Priest, Hunter, Slayer), grouped by unlock gates, and totals the passive stat contributions and selected active skills for the chosen 3-hero party. It does not simulate combat or resolve gear rolls.

Where does the build data come from?

Each hero's skill tree, group unlock thresholds, and per-level passive values are taken from the local data snapshot. The planner reads those values verbatim; it does not fetch live data from the game.

Why do some groups say Unlocks at N total points?

Each skill tree group is gated by a total-points threshold recorded in the snapshot. Group 1 is open from zero; group 2 needs 10 total points across the hero; groups rise in tens up to 70. The gate protects the designer's intended progression.

Does the planner include gear or runes?

No. Gear has too many items to be useful in a web tool, and runes are already covered by the dedicated Rune Planner. The Build Planner only owns skill-tree allocation and the passive totals that come from it. Plan your runes separately and read the party totals here.

Will the build change after a patch?

Yes. Skill names, group gates, and per-level values can change with any update. The planner shows the snapshot label so you can confirm it matches the latest official Steam announcement before treating a build as current.

DATA NOTES

Sources

The planner uses a local snapshot of the six hero skill trees, group unlock thresholds, and per-level passive values. It indexes skill allocation only; it does not resolve gear rolls or synchronize an account.
